Bellator 76 recap: Alvarez TKO’s Freire with head kick

Windsor, ON – The Bellator promotion returned to Windsor, Ontario this past Friday night (October 12, 2012) and featured a big main-event between Eddie Alvarez vs. Patricky “Pitbull” Freire. Alvarez scored a huge head kick knockout in the last seconds of the opening-stanza.

The event featured one of Canada’s top featherweight’s as Ontario’s Wagnney Fabiano made quick work of Akop Stepanyan by eliminating him out of the featherweight tournament with an armbar.

Only one fight went the distance on the main-card as fans in attendance saw all sorts of knockout’s and submissions.
