Dana White is ‘working’ on introducing UFC women’s division with Ronda Rousey
October 24, 2012
PrintUFC president Dana White, who in the past shot down rumors of a female division or bout in the UFC, is now re-thinking and is “open” to the idea.
All thanks to Ronda Rousey, who has re-invented female MMA with her outstanding first-round arm bar finishes on each and every one of her opponents.
Dana White revealed to “SI.com” recently that he is currently working on a women’s division.
It is unclear as to who the “Rowdy” one will fight, but many speculate a Cyborg vs. Rousey super fight to break in the female division inside the octagon.
“It’s absolutely going to happen…. [It] could happen tomorrow, it could happen a year from now…. The point is I’m committed to this.” states Dana White.

This is great for the UFC and the world of MMA. Gives hope to other females who want to make a name for themselves
