UFC president Dana White, who in the past shot down rumors of a female division or bout in the UFC, is now re-thinking and is “open” to the idea.
All thanks to Ronda Rousey, who has re-invented female MMA with her outstanding first-round arm bar finishes on each and every one of her opponents.
Dana White revealed to “SI.com” recently that he is currently working on a women’s division.
It is unclear as to who the “Rowdy” one will fight, but many speculate a Cyborg vs. Rousey super fight to break in the female division inside the octagon.
“It’s absolutely going to happen…. [It] could happen tomorrow, it could happen a year from now…. The point is I’m committed to this.” states Dana White.
