Chris R – It is no doubt that current UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre is one of the most talked about and watched fighter on the UFC roster.
The Canadian has made a long run with his 170-pound strap and has cleared most of the division out.
The question still remains, will GSP find the fire he once had and start finishing fights again? Well, The man himself agrees that he will take that into consideration but wants to still fight his fight.
As quoted from his interview with the New York Post: “I agree with the criticism. I want to do better. I want to give more entertainment to the fans. I’ve been training to jump more on opportunities that are open to me. I’m still gonna fight my fight, but I’m going to be more opportunistic.”
In 18 career bouts under the UFC banner, St-Pierre has gone the distance nine times.
In our personal opinion, St-Pierre is exciting to watch even if it goes all five-rounds. There is a reason St-Pierre is still the champion, and we will find out on November 17 once he settles the score with interim champ Carlos Condit in Montreal.
