Elvis “The King” Mutapcic is the world’s most dangerous middleweight according to MFC

Elvis “The King” Mutapcic (MFC World middleweight champion) has no problem injuring his opponent’s inside the ring. “It’s actually a great feeling, a special feeling, its part of my job” he told us earlier today.  In his last 3 outings the champion has knocked out ultimate fighter: Brazil winner Cezar Ferreira, made submission expert Jacen Flynn go into early retirement with a beautiful knee KO, and put undefeated Joseph Henle on the injured list to capture MFC gold.

Outside the ring “The King” is completely different, always humble and has a love for the relaxing game of golf.  The MFC along with the MMA community both agree that Mutapcic is considered one of the world’s most dangerous middleweights, but Elvis feels like he has more to prove to himself and that’s what makes him even more dangerous.

We are two weeks away from Elvis Mutapcic having to put his MW championship belt (which he keeps on his fire place mantel) up against team quest stand out and #1 contender Sam Alvey (19-4).  Alvey is a veteran who loves to stand and trade but Elvis told us he isn’t one bit nervous, he believes Sam is only a small challenge which makes for a very interesting fight.

Wednesday January 30th marked “The King’s” hardest day in the gym for this training camp. “It was brutal , a lot of rounds, a lot of sessions and the intensity was turned up to the max” but when he was asked to go further into details,  Elvis told us “The gym is like Vegas what happens in the gym stays in the gym.”  On Friday February 15th when the AXS TV camera’s are on, the fans are screaming and Sam Alvey is walking to the ring “ I want him to remember that I have the power to injure people, I’m very confident in my weapons… put your chin up and hands down and it will all be over soon” Laughed Mutapcic.

Elvis wants to thank his sparring partners Josh Neer, Victor Moreno along with all his coaches and everybody else who helped him get prepared for the most important fight of his career. He also had some words for MFC fans around the world. “It will be very unwise for you not to be there live at MFC 36 Reality Check, I wasn’t happy with my last performance. I will do even more damage then my last fight, and I am turning up the INTENSITY” – Elvis “The King” Mutapcic

Tickets for MFC 36: Reality Check are on sale now and available via www.ticketmaster.ca or by calling the MFC Ticket Hotline at (780) 504-2024.
