After their original bout was scrapped for UFC 161, Renan Barao is healthy and ready to rock as he defends his UFC bantamweight championship against Eddie Wineland in the co-main event of UFC 165 that takes place on September 21, 2013 at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto.
The first bout that was scheduled for Winnipeg, Manitoba was scrapped as Barao had suffered an injury to his foot.
Wineland is currently riding a two-fight win streak with wins over Brad Pickett and Scott Jorgensen.
Barao has been destructive and unstoppable in his last outings.
The bout was announced via Joe Ferraro’s Twitter account earlier today.
The pair will duke it out in front of the Toronto crowd and hope the injury bug stays free of this one.
