A light heavyweight matchup is on tap for UFC Fight Night 30 as Canada’s Ryan Jimmo and Jimi Manuwa are slated to meet on Oct. 26 inside the Manchester Arena in Manchester, England.
It is currently unknown as to what part of the card it will stream on.
U.K.’s Manuwa hopes to score his third-straight victory inside the Octagon after beating top tier opponents like Kyle Kingsbury and Cyrille Diabate. Manuwa remains undefeated at 13-0.
His toughest task to date will be in Ryan Jimmo, who holds a decision win over Igor Pokrajac at UFC 161. Jimmo made an impact with his seven-second knockout of Anthony Perosh in his UFC debut. Jimmo hadn’t lost since 2007 until he suffered a defeat to James Te Huna back at UFC on FUEL TV 7.
A win for any of these two will catapult them up the 205-pound rankings.
