Sarah Kaufman vs. Jessica Eye official for UFC 166 in Houston on Oct. 19

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) booked a stellar women’s clash between Canadian Sarah Kaufman and UFC newcomer Jessica “Evil” Eye.

The bout will take place at UFC 166 on October 19, 2013 in Houston.

Kaufman posted on her Facebook: ” According to @UFC it’s official: I’m fighting @jessicaevileye at UFC 166 in Houston on October 19! Get ready for an explosion in the cage ”

Kaufman was originally scheduled to fight highly regarded Sara Mcmann but the Olympian was forced out of the bout due to an injury.

Jessica Eye is currently riding a seven-fight win streak with wins over Carina Damm, Zoila Frausto Gurgel and Angela Magana.

Since losing to Ronda Rousey, Kaufman won a split decision over Leslie Smith at Invicta FC 5 this past April.
