Dana White says GSP vs Hendricks rematch to be announced ‘within a couple of weeks’

UFC President Dana White may have some big news for us in the coming weeks because he may have worked his magic to make the rematch possible between Georges St-Pierre and Johny Hendricks after their first fight was controversial.

“As far as a rematch, we’re on schedule and I’ll have a date within a couple weeks,” White told L.A. Times. “I feel confident that Georges is fine with that and all is on track.”

Rumors have been flying rapidly of why GSP decided to hang up the gloves in his post-fight in ring interview with Joe Rogan.  Those were shot down.   It appears that a lawsuit between GSP and his former manager Shari Spencer is the issue here.

Dana White wouldn’t commit to a date or location for the St-Pierre vs. Hendricks 2 fight, but expect some news in the coming weeks.
