Amateur MMA promotion Hybrid Combat goes pro

Press Release –  The top amateur MMA promotion in the Capital  Region is stepping into the world of  professional MMA.  Known for exciting fights, big sound and sold out  crowds, Hybrid  Combat Promotions puts together the biggest and  most respected amateur  events in the area.

After 5 years and 20 quality amateur events, the  promotion has built a  reputation for  entertaining events and upholding the integrity of  the sport and  athletes.

Hybrid Combat owners, Dan Guillemette and Yohann  Dagenais say it has  been their goal from the beginning to provide a  professional MMA event  with experienced fighters in  the Ottawa/Gatineau area.

“We knew the first step to a pro show was to  give local fighters the  experience they  needed to become a professional fighter,” says  Dan Guillemette.

The first Hybrid Pro show is slated for March 8th,  2014 at Palais des  congrès, only  minutes from downtown Ottawa and in the heart of  Gatineau.

Packing the fight card with popular, experienced fighters including Mandel Nallo, Dan Lariviere, Tariq Ismail, Eric Nadon, Mathieu Charette and Cédric Mongeon, Hybrid Pro promises an explosive first event.

If Hybrid’s proven track record in amateur MMA  is any indication,  fight fans can expect big things from Hybrid Pro,  and many more names  to come.
