Kaufman vs. Baszler official for TUF Nations Finale on April 16 in Quebec city

The Ultimate Fighting Championship has booked two top women bantamweight contenders as Canadian Sarah Kaufman and Shayna Baszler square off at The Ultimate Fighter TUF “Nations” finale, which takes place on April 16, 2014 from the Colisée Pepsi in Quebec City.

UFC announced the booking earlier today.

Kaufman (16-2) had previously lost a split-decision to Jessica Eye which was overturned and ruled a “No decision” by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation just this past week.  This puts Kaufman’s record back in the win column.

The Ultimate Fighter TUF 18 castmate Shayna Baszler last saw action when she lost to eventual show winner Julianna Pena during the show.  Baszler fought numerous times under the Invicta FC banner.

Baszler will get her chance to cause chaos when she makes her UFC Octagon debut in April.

TUF “Nations” finale will be headlined by Michael Bisping vs. Tim Kennedy, as well as the co-headliner between season coaches Patrick Cote and Kyle Noke. In addition, tournament champions will be crowned in the welterweight and middleweight divisions.
