UFC women’s bantamweight contender Cat Zingano announces she’s medically cleared for Octagon return

Women’s bantamweight top threat Cat Zingano has been cleared to return to mixed martial arts (MMA) and will begin training immediately!  The 135-pound monster announced the wonderful news via her Twitter earlier today:

“At Incredible Smiles in Boulder, getting a fresh mouth guard for my fresh start training hard again. I’M CLEARED! @ufc @BoulderDentist”

Zingano blew out her knee nearly one year about while preparing for her coaching gig against Ronda Rousey on season 18 of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF).  SHe was soon sidelined and unable to participate, making way for Miesha Tate to fill the spot instead.

No news as of yet as to when, where and who Zingano will fight when she returns.
