‘Karate Hottie’ Michelle Waterson retains women’s Atomweight title at Invicta 8



Invicta Fighting Championships 8 is officially in the books! The all female spectacle took place from inside Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Missouri.

Invicta FC 8 featured an atomweight championship tilt between current champion Michelle Waterson and fellow 105-pounder Japanese import Yasuko Tamada.

In the co-main event, Stephanie Eggink and Katja Kankaanpaa duked it out for the vacant strawweight title, while Canadian Charmaine Tweet battled Veronica Rothenhausler.
