The UFC held it’s Halifax show this past month and a quick stop in Montreal, Quebec shouldnt hurt, right? According to Postmedia, UFC president Dana White replied to a text message saying “We love the food in Montreal so we figured we would fly there for some lunch. The weird part was GSP was there too! Crazy! Was good to c him 😉 ”
The hottest topic in MMA is “When will GSP return to the Octagon?”. It’s quite certain seeing that the ex-champ agreed to meet the UFC brass over a lunch date in Montreal.
Since his surgery in April, GSP has now resumed training again, according to Tristar head trainer Firas Zahabi.
“We’re going to take it one step at a time. We’re going to get back in the gym, try to have some fun. You know he hasn’t kicked and punched in a long time so we’re going to have some fun with it first.”
Only time will tell if St-Pierre will announce his comeback. “He will fight for the title right away” says UFC President Dana White.
Until then, Johny Hendricks and Robbie Lawler will settle some business as they fight in a rematch on Dec. 6, 2014 at UFC 181.
