UFC 181 results: Pettis submits Melendez, Lawler wins Welterweight title

PrintUltimate Fighting Championship returned to Las Vegas, Nevada with UFC 181. The event took place tonight (Dec. 6, 2014) inside Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
UFC 181 features the highly-anticipated rematch between welterweight champion, Johny “Bigg Rigg” Hendricksand challenger “Ruthless” Robbie Lawler.
The event also featured a Lightweight scrap for the 155-pound title as champ Anthony Pettis locked horns with Gilbert Melendez.
The UFC also announced its signing of former WWE champion CM Punk who will make his debut sometime in 2015.
