UFC 183 ‘Silva vs. Diaz’ fight card and main-event preview

PrintThe Ultimate Fighting Championship (“UFC 183“) is scheduled for Saturday January 6, 2015, from inside the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
UFC 183 will feature a mega main event between two of MMA’s biggest legends, former pound for pound greatest fighter and former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva vs. The Stockton slugger, Nick Diaz .
This super-fight will be contested in the middleweight division. The second, a welterweight tilt between two upcoming division contenders, Tyron Woodley and Ultimate Fighter winner Kelvin Gastelum. The rest of the card is stacked from top to bottom.
Another notable mention is Canada’s Jordan Mein will battle one of UFC’s popular fighters, Thiago Alves in a 170-pound clash.
Anderson Silva and Nick Diaz is arguably one of the most anticipated bouts of 2015. Diaz is known for his aggressiveness and boxing, not to mention durability also. Silva Is” fresh off recovering from an injury he sustained” in his last fight with Chris Weidman. Even so, Silva is still regarded as one of the best ever which leaves Diaz as the underdog at “3-1 according to sports betting site MTS”.
Still, expect fireworks when these two enter the Octagon on January 31!
