UFC 207: Nunes vs Rousey is an upcoming MMA event that will be held by the
Ultimate Fighting Championship on December 30, 2016. The event will air
on pay-per-view and will be hosted inside T-Mobile Arena in Paradise,
Nevada.
The main-attraction will feature the highly anticipated return of former
champion Ronda Rousey, as she prepares to recapture her title against
newly crowned title holder Amanda Nunes.
After racking up a three-fight win streak, Nunes earned her first title
shot in the UFC. She faced Miesha Tate for the UFC Women’s Bantamweight
Championship on July 9, 2016 at UFC 200. Nunes stunned Tate early on via
knee and punches and then won the fight by submission (rear-naked choke)
in the first round. She will look to continue her momentum inside the
Octagon and put Rousey away.
Rousey, who was one of the biggest UFC stars of 2015, shocked the world by
losing to Holly Holm in the main event at UFC 193 on November 15, 2015.
This prompted “Rowdy” to take a hiatus from competing for the reminder of
2015 and most of 2016.
Will Rousey show ring-rust in her Octagon return? Or will she stun the
world and take back her title? The UFC betting odds are something to see!
