Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) makes its return to the FOX Sports 1 airwaves this Saturday night (Oct. 27, 2018) with the UFC Fight Night 138 mixed martial arts (MMA) event inside Moncton Events Centre in New Brunswick, Canada, which includes additional preliminary bouts airing on UFC Fight Pass.
Headlining the network-televised fight card is the light heavyweight showdown pitting ex-division No. 1 contender, Volkan “No Time” Oezdemir, opposite dangerous 205-pound slugger Anthony “Lionheart” Smith.
In the featherweight co-main event, 145-pound “Hammer” Artem Lobov tries to prove he’s more than just Conor McGregor’s waterboy by trading leather with former lightweight striker (and late replacement) Michael “The Menace” Johnson.
In addition, Toronto’s very own Misha Cirkunov tries to punch his way back into the win column by turning away light heavyweight wrestler Patrick “Durkin’” Cummins, while Gian Villante and Ed “Short Fuse” Herman collide at 205 pounds.
