Mark Bocek Joins Xtreme Couture Gym Toronto

TORONTO, ONTARIO…..January 30, 2008… Canada’s first Xtreme Couture training facility, slated to open in Toronto in the spring of 2008, is pleased to announce Mark Bocek is the latest fighter to join their expanding team. Mark Bocek is one of Canada's first Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belts and has been studying the art for more than a decade.  Most recently, Bocek was added to the added to the UFC card to be held in Montreal in April.   

 

“We’re pleased to have a fighter of Mark’s stature working out of our 33,000 square foot mixed martial arts and fitness training facility,” said Doug Urch, Director and Co-owner of the Xtreme Couture Gym.  “He promises to be one of the best instructors and his work with some of the most prominent organizations across the world won’t go unnoticed by our clientele.”

 

Xtreme Couture-Toronto is also pleased to announce that Throwdown Training Centers and Cages, North America’s premier supplier of rings and mats has been selected to install both the ring and cage for Canada’s newest MMA facility.   The facility will be modeled after Randy Couture’s gym in Las Vegas.  The state of the art training equipment, boxing ring and full size professional octagon will be second to none.  “We are excited about the chance to work with Xtreme Couture again,” said, Mike McIntyre, president of Throwdown.  “We have been successful with their organization in the past and look forward to help bring a world class MMA/ Fitness facility to the Toronto area and across Canada.”
