Houston Alexander in Toronto for UFC 85: Bedlam
Sean McManus

Houston Alexander and his coach, Mick Doyle – a world champion kick boxer, hosted two Muay Thai seminars in Toronto over the weekend.  Houston and Mick both sparred with all of the participants and they truly got their money’s worth with the excellent training and coaching from Mick and Houston.  Some even got to wear a badge of honor on their face in the form of cuts – evidence of hard sparring.

Houston was also out at the Wing Shack in Whitby for an autograph signing.  Houston and Mick were both generous with their time.  ‘The Assassin’ is definitely a killer in the octagon, but outside of it, I have yet to meet a fighter as respectful and kind to his fans and the media.  Houston was then brought down to the Diesel Playhouse to host the viewing party for UFC 85: Bedlam on Saturday afternoon.

With the success of the seminars and autograph sessions, Houston was insistent that he would be back up for more.  Keep an eye out for more seminars and meet and greets with UFC fighters in the near future.
