Welcome to the first installment of "The Road To The Title" with Canadian sensation Patrick "The Predator" Cote.  Hailing from Montreal Quebec Canada, Cote is the top 185 pound fighter coming out of Canada. Alongside training at Tristar with Georges St Pierre and the gang, Cote finds himself training up in Boston with Kru Mark Delagrotte and the rest of the team at Sidyotong. " I just arrived to Boston today" says Patrick Cote.  "Im ready to train and shock the world".  When I asked Patrick what has changed in his routine he told me that he hired a new strength and conditioning coach.  "I hired a new conditioning coach, Oz Ben Deli from Corexcellence Gym to help me prepare for this fight.  I will be 100% mental and physically going into this fight with Silva" says Cote.

Cote told MMACanada.net that he will spend 2 weeks in Boston in which he will be returning to Montreal, most likely by September 14th to work on his Brazilian Jiu Jitsu with Fabio Holanda at BTT. " I will spend 2 weeks in Boston, then return to Montreal for 2 weeks and then back to Boston for another 2 weeks to finish up my preperations " mentions Cote.

Theres no doubt that Cote will do everything in his power to leave Chicago as the new UFC Middleweight Champion.  " I know im the big underdog in this fight and the media isnt cutting me any slack but rest assured that I will shock the world and be the next champion".

Cote has a definite chance of beating Anderson Silva due to the fact that he has not been knocked out and has a very good chin.  We believe that Silva has not been hit as hard and tested by someone like Cote who will bring the pressure to him on October 25th.

"After October 25th I will bring the belt back to Canada" says Cote.

Make sure to tune into MMACanada.net in the upcoming weeks as we will be visitng Patrick Cote in Montreal and providing an in depth look at his training, dieting and more, exclusively on your #1 mixed martial arts website!
