UFC 94 St-Pierre vs Penn 2 Press Conference Coverage Toronto

UFC President Dana White, along with UFC Welterweight Champion, Georges St. Pierre and UFC Lightweight Champion, BJ Penn hosted the official PR tour in Toronto to formally announce UFC 94: ST-PIERRE vs. PENN 2 – the incredible rematch that fans have been waiting for!  St. Pierre, Penn and White were all in attendance in downtown Toronto for the public press conference and autograph signing at the Scotiabank Theatre Toronto (formerly Paramount Theatre).

Fans arrived and lined up as early as 6:00am this morning in order to get a seat inside the theatre. Dana White officially came on stage to announce the fight between GSP and BJ Penn.  The Toronto fans went abosultely INSANE! Loud applaus and cheers arose as Champion Georges St-Pierre graced the podium. BJ Penn, despite the fact being in hostile territory got a huge welcoming from the Canadian fans himself.  "The Toronto fans are awesome! They are the mecca in Canada, they are diehard fans and they love the UFC" stated UFC President Dana White to MMACanada.net

Fans in attendance all got offered a free UFC 94 t-shirt and a free 8x10 autographed postcard of the two champions.  The festivites went on for about 3 hours as fans lined up patiently to meet their heroes.  "I'm having a blast, I love coming to Toronto, this is the reason why I fight for my fans" stated Georges St Pierre to MMACanada.net.
