Former UFC middleweight number-one contender Patrick "The Predator" Cote continues his road back to the UFC by stepping into hostile territory to battle Guystavo "Ximu" Machado (22-8-1) in Brazil on March 31.

Cote will fight on the Amazon Forest Combat card.  This is the second event put on by the promotion.

Since being cut by the UFC back at UFC 121 following a loss to Tom Lawlor, Cote has won three-straight fights, some coming over Kalib Starnes and Todd Brown.

"The Predator" is looking for his fourth straight win and a ticket to re-joining the ultimate MMA league in the world, the UFC.

Cote's opponent has only lost once in his last eleven fights and is really well known in Brazil.
